Neal Barnard, M.D.

As of today, animals will no longer be part of US Medical School Students' training. Thank you Neil for championing this cause and seeing it through!

"When I was a medical student training to save lives, I was shocked when I was asked to kill my first patient as part of a dog lab course. I refused to participate and vowed that one day, I would end this practice in U.S. medical schools. After decades of perseverance by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and our many friends and supporters, I am thrilled to announce that today, that day has come. Thank you for helping us reach this monumental milestone in improving medical education!" - Neal Barnard
